Women in Science 2026 | 6th Edition

On 12 February 2026, the Université de Namur in Belgium will host the 6th edition of Women in Science, an annual event dedicated to advancing gender equality and diversity in science and technology. Taking place from 09:00 to 17:00 at the Université de Namur (Rue de Bruxelles 61, 5000 Namur), the event brings together researchers, students, educators, and institutional stakeholders committed to building a more inclusive scientific community.

This full-day event aims to promote women’s and girls’ access to scientific and technological fields and to support their full and equal participation at all levels. Through discussions, exchanges, and inspiring contributions, Women in Science 2026 will highlight the essential role women play in research and innovation, while addressing persistent gender gaps in STEM disciplines.

By fostering dialogue and sharing experiences, the event offers a valuable platform to encourage equal opportunities for all genders, raise awareness of diversity challenges in science, and inspire the next generation of scientists. Organized under the banner of inclusion and excellence, Women in Science continues to strengthen its impact as a key annual gathering for gender equality in academia and beyond.
